Live, Work, and Play in Logan Circle

Splurge-worthy shopping

Logan Circle is known for drawing in a fashionable crowd, largely due to its selection of national brand names and stylish local shops. Just as eccentric as its name implies, Miss Pixie's Furnishing & Whatnot is frequented for its retro collection of art pieces and antique furniture. And if you're willing to go off the beaten path a bit, Room & Board sells its artisan-crafted furniture out of a renovated vintage car showroom. You can deck out your new home's kitchen with locally made crafts and decor from Salt & Sundry, or you could always go the more traditional route with classic pieces from West Elm.

Palatable plates

It's not uncommon to be exploring around Logan Circle and be wondering what exactly it is that you're looking at—many of the neighborhood's restaurants are housed in converted historic buildings. A prime example is Bar Pilar, an Ernest Hemingway-theme restaurant that we like to say has delicious written all over it. If you want some French-inspired fare without taking a trip around the world, you can walk down the street to Le Diplomate. This sidewalk cafe serves up only the most classic French plates, including a multi-tiered tower of seafood. The Colado Shop, Doi Moi, and Seven Reasons are few more favorites for when you're craving some international flavors.

Sterling schools

Even if you don't have children, you'll still benefit from Logan Circle's proximity to the area's top public schools—they can actually help increase property values over time. Most younger residents of Logan Circle are zoned for District of Columbia Public Schools, a highly rated district that serves more than 48,000 students. Many children may also opt to attend nearby charter schools, with Center City Public Charter Schools being one of the most popular choices. Serving students in kindergarten through eighth grade, Center City PCS teaches a curriculum that's focused on humanities and liberal arts.

Enviable homes

Do you imagine yourself coming home to your condo that's located right in the heart of the city, just to drop off your bags and go back out to explore the city? Living in Logan Circle places you among the DC Metro area's best company, including the hip storefronts along 14th Street NW, the historical statue at the neighborhood's roundabout, and charming brick-coated homes. Logan Circle features a variety of condo and townhome listings, many of which boast rare access to private rooftop terraces. Here in Logan Circle, there's no such thing as a cramped condo—this neighborhood's properties are known for being surprisingly spacious.
